Description

The Oyster Experience in Mali Ston Bay offers an authentic and unforgettable insight into the world of oyster farming in one of Croatia’s most renowned seafood regions. The tour begins with a boat ride from the main port in Mali Ston. As you sail across the calm waters of the bay, you’ll enjoy a traditional welcome with homemade brandy and local sweets, including candied orange peel and sugared almonds.
Upon arrival at the wooden floating dock, affectionately called the “Oyster Bar,” your English-speaking guide will introduce you to the history and methods of oyster cultivation, a tradition deeply rooted in this region. You’ll then have the chance to taste freshly harvested oysters, straight from the sea, in unlimited quantities. The experience is elevated with a bottle of sparkling wine KOTA 325, shared between two people, and accompanied by still or sparkling water.
The entire program lasts approximately 45 minutes to one hour and offers not just a tasting, but a memorable immersion into the flavors, stories, and culture of Mali Ston Bay.
